Pre-Christmas Design Supermarket This year’s festival of design a.k.a. “Design Supermarket” is traditionally held in the pre-Christmas period, but this time on a new address – Liliová Street in Prague 1. It again will present dozens of Czech and several foreign designers of wide scope of interest, from product and furniture design, jewelry, porcelain and glass to contemporary fashion design. The “Supermarket” thus once more becomes a unique alternative to the commonplace and omnipresent shopping malls packed with “guaranteed” Christmas crowd-pullers of doubtful quality. The event will introduce design studios and author’s brands, but also works by graduates of art schools and their students. Amongst the designers and studios present this year are, for example, whitefruits, voala, suprodesign, Zdeněk Vacek, Markéta Richterová + Markéta Lisá, easy peasy, Boa design, No., Leeda, AU!
