Gabriela Fárová’s “A Moment of Poetry” at the Galerie Fotografie Louvre
The retrospective exhibition “A Moment of Poetry” featuring Gabriela Fárová’s photographs is on view in Prague’s Galerie Fotografie Louvre. Apart from portraiture and nude photography, the collection of thirty-five images made between 1978 and 2002 includes the well-known series Cabinet Photos (Gabinetky), Kaleidoscope (Kaleidoskop) and Mandatory Relaxation (Povinná relaxace). Her most recent series Manoeuvres (Manévry), also on display at the exhibition, is accompanied by a book of photographs, entitled “Manévry/Manoeuvres”, published by Torst.
