Sep 30 | '15 | Silver Lining - 25th Anniversary of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award
Visit Prague's National Gallery from September 30, 2015 to January 17, 2016 for an exciting exhibition documenting a group of distinguished artists from the last 25 years of the notable Jindřich Chalupecký Award.
“A sable cloud turns forth its silver lining on the night,” with this motto from a quote by the 17th century British poet, John Milton, the National Gallery in Prague is happily celebrating the 25th anniversary of the famed Jindřich Chalupecký Award. This show, rather a close-up of artists, instead of a typical group exhibition, showcases artworks that have received the Czech Republic’s most distinguished art prize.
