Prague City Gallery presents Milan Grygar: The Visual and the Acoustic from December 17, 2014 – April 5th, 2015 at the 2nd floor gallery of the Municipal Library.
Milan Grygar's work focuses on how images, sounds and space relate to one another. This retrospective on Milan Grygar (1926 - ) - audiovisual artist, painter, and typographer - focuses on the artist's output, starting from a time period in the mid-sixties when he first linked his art work together with sound. As Grygar worked in various rhythms he found he could hear the drawings and art works he was creating; he then began to tape record the acoustic process of drawing.
