Candidates for the elections for the new board of directors of the Czech Fine Art Foundation are already known.
The elections were suggested by the Mánes Umělcům (Mánes For the Artists) initiative that aims to transform the Czech Fine Art Foundation that is the main administrator of the Mánes exhibition hall. Mánes Umělcům strives to make the management of this institution more transparent.
Artists, theoreticians and curators have been nominated for the elections for the new board of directors: Darina Alster, Vjera Borozan, Tomáš Císařovský, Marcel Fišer,
Lenka Dolanová, Petr Dub, Pavel Sterec, Isabella Grosseová, Petra
Herotová, Rostislav Koryčánek, Pavel Humhal, Blanka Jiráčková, Johana
Lomová, Lenka Lindaurová, Zuzana Štefková, Jiří Thýn, Dušan Záhoranský and
Ladislav Zikmund-Lender.
Anonymous electronic voting will take place this Saturday, May 18th from 2 to 6 p.m. It will also be possible to vote in person in the space of the Prague Divus cafe (Bubenská 1, Prague 7).
