Michal Cimala – Větvení – Installation at Roxy in Prague
The curator of the NOD gallery, Jiří Machalický, commissioned artist Michal Cimala to create a light installation on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the club Roxy.
With regard to the fact that the club focuses mainly on electronic music, the artist wanted to create an object with a sort of “computer nature“. This resulted in the creation of the light sculpture called Větvení.
Inside the branches of the so-called Digital Tree there are various transparent veins that connect in the center of the object.
The installation will be displayed at Roxy until the end of January 2013.
