Company LUSCH launched its activity as early as in 1945. The firm was founded by Ferdinand Lusch in the German city of Bielefeld-Brackwede. Its beginnings are mainly linked with the production of toys and kitchen scales. Only several years later it, however, already fully specialized in manufacturing furniture and its function accessories. In 1964, the son and future successor of the founder, Peter Lusch, began working for the company as a construction engineer who also brought along new ideas. Quality and professional and personal approach to every construction requirement of the individual commissions soon resulted in well-deserved success as well as the need to build yet another factory in the city of Buke near Paderborn and moreover in the need to establish the company’s branches in other cities like Frankfurt, Hannover, Berlin, Stuttgart and others. Today LUSCH represents a company that exclusively focuses on development and production of functional mechanisms for all types of upholstered furniture. Its long-term experience and constant innovations made it a significant partner of many manufacturers producing upholstered furniture both in Germany and abroad.
