Even though the swift watercolor composition is not dated and not signed, it was acquired into a private collection directly from the artist. It is clear even from the watercolor how the pre-eminent Czech painter of Modernism, František Foltýn, easily differentiated among the particular masses and how masterfully he worked with both composition and color scale.
