The oval base bears a figure of a little girl clad in blue dress decorated with a folk floral pattern. Her bonnet that covers her brown hair is decorated in the same way. The girl has a book on her lap from which she reads out to two plush bears. The porcelain figure is painted under the glazing. The author of the model no. 1913 was Albert Caasmann. The item on display was produced in the Rosenthal porcelain manufacture prior to the Second World War.
