Paintings of orchids, created between 2003–2004, rank to flower series of Petr Nikl. In the artist’s predominantly figurative work, natural motifs are very rare. He, however, depicts flowers as living beings and their erotic symbolic as well anthropologization has appeared in fine arts from time immemorial.
