The painting entitled Little Grove ranks to a rather small cycle of landscape paintings by Tomáš Císařovský. These works, however, represent neither poetic views of undefiled Nature nor critical ecological standpoints. Even in the case of landscape, the artist holds onto the ambiguity of interpretation and his work can be both perceived as post-modern concept of painting and authentic record of observation.
