Brothers Adam and Samuel Cigler make unique hand-made furniture in a small workshop in Prague’s Lesser Town. This design duo tries to follow the interrupted tradition of high quality craft work that is based on respecting nature, classic technological methods of processing, a deep knowledge and respect to materials. Following the process of previous generations of craftsmen the furniture created by the Cigler brothers is an application of these forgotten methods and ideas. It’s minimalist, classic in detail – yet innovative and sophisticated. Each piece is a unique original. You won’t find agglomerated boards, plastic materials or chemical paint here – only quality oak wood and metal. Thanks to tireless experimenting, testing, respect to traditional values and excellent knowledge of materials timeless furniture with great craft work is being made in the hands of this young duo.
