Lysáček’s series of portraits of famous personalities from the domain of culture and pop culture includes the one of the punk rock idol and rebel, Iggy Pop. The series explores Vilem Flusser’s theory discussing the power of an image, at the same time ironically commenting on the ways of perception of the artist’s own generation. This is yet another example of Lysáček employing a combination of unusual painting materials – plastics and fabrics.
