The Men with Golden Guns is one of the political subjects which are rather frequent in Surůvka’s work – and the artist treats them in a brutal way. The computer collage features rough soldiers holding arms, while their heads were replaced for pumpkins. This is not the first series where Surůvka replaced human faces for fruit in order to derogate serious war subjects. The present painting is executed in the method of computer print on sparse canvas.
