The table “Guéridon” was designed by Jean Prouvé for the Paris University in 1950. Here, the designer disproves that modern furniture must be made of glass and steel, and employs a standard natural material – oak wood. Three flat legs are connected by a construction of black-varnished steel. The desk comes in the diameter of either 95 or 120 cm. The table can be optimally combined with Prouvé’s chairs “Standard” if a similar construction.
