The “Nelson Perch” was designed by George Nelson in 1964. As the name “perch” suggests, the item is an elevated stool which is optimum for the position between standing and sitting. Although it was originally conceived for working purposes, it can also be perfect for a home bar. The central revolving column rests on five-beam stool with wheels above which is a circular footrest. “Nelson Perch” is of aluminium which is in part varnished in black and in part chromium-plated. The seating part, which flexibly sinks 6 centimeters when in use, is upholstered with genuine leather.
