The sofa “Couple” was designed by Jan Padrnoš for Uměleckoprůmyslové závody (Art Industry Enterprises) in 2005. The sofa rests on a base of chromium-plated steel tubes, as is the spirit of the tradition of the Enterprises’ original inter-war production. The sofa has three construction variants. In two of them, the hand rest reaches to the length of two thirds of the seating part, on the left side in the first case and on the right side in the second case. The third variant counts with the possibility that the sofa will be situated in the corner, and it thus has the lower hand rest on the shorter side. The individual variants can be composed into sets. Plentiful number of upholstering fabrics and leathers are at disposal. The listed price is for the basic version.
