The white-glazed porcelain “Mine” piece is intended for holding soft-boiled eggs. Owing to its specially devised heat-conserving system, the egg retains its heat for a long time. As with other designs, Daniel Piršč sought inspiration in turn-of-the-century vessels, in this particular case a World War I mine. Like all other products of the Pirsc Porcelain Studio, the “Mine” is fashioned in studio conditions under the designer’s personal supervision and carries a Certificate of Originality. The total value order must exceed 2,000 Cz. crowns, which is compensated by a ten-percent retail price discount. The number of the desired material is limited.
