“Homemade”, as the name of the piece suggests, is a homemade variation of the renowned forms designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1966, manufactured on Murano Island. Contrary to the exquisite and excellently-crafted vessels, Jakub Berdich, co-founder of Qubus Studio, features ordinary bottles for Italian table wine, which are cut horizontally and glued together. In combining sections of colorless and colored glass, he achieves the visual impression of water surface.
