Motifs of street lamps were employed by the artist in several installations. Symbol of something as a higher, eternal light provided by mysterious forces – light as if arriving from the outside – have many connotations. In the object on display, Kintera linked the intimacy of salon somberness with raw street lighting and again manifested how splendidly he can work with the ambivalence of expression and meaning.
