The rounded base carries a figure of a brown-haired little girl clad in pink ruffled shirt. The girl is captured in motion as she, sitting, swings her legs and waves her hands above her head. The entire scene is observed by a yellow chicken with a slightly feebleminded expression. The item on display is a porcelain figure painted under the glazing. It was produced around 1930 by Karl Ens in the German porcelain manufacture Volkstedt.
