The clock rests on two flat legs enclosed by a volute. The body has a shape of a cylinder whose front part is formed by a clock dial with Arabic numerals. Both on the sides and in the upper part, the dial is embellished by a characteristic Art Deco plastic decoration. The clock is executed in white enameled porcelain painted with gold. The author of the design is Kurt Wendler who worked for the Bavarian porcelain factory Rosenthal as a designer in the Art Deco period. The clock was produced in the Rosenthal porcelain factory during the 1920s.
