The colored abstract wooden sculpture originates from the period mesmerized by the post-modern achievements. At that time, various forms and materials were combined and quotes from other periods as well as other artists were employed. Gabriel’s talent, however, came to markedly stand out from amongst the experimenters already then. The sculpture did not only pursue an artistic play, but reached much further. The artist’s sculptural thoroughness and honesty as well as his clear vision resulted in a timeless character of his work in general.
