The bronze sculpture on display is one of the results of Gabriel’s sojourns to the vegetal world while it, at the same time, many viewers can discern in it the clear symbolic of mushrooms as drugs. The simple subject and the realistic elaboration in a highly-valued material, however, do not represent the only quality of the sculpture. At first sight, it represents an achievement of a sculptor par excellence.
