The chair on display is part of the collection “Plywood Group”, which was designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1946. It is a low chair of chromium-plated steel and pressed fiberglass and it was mainly conceived for the around-the-table meeting purposes. Vitra offers the basic version, LCM, with the surface of ash veneer; the LCM Leather, which is upholstered with genuine leather in various colors, and LCM Calf Skin, upholstered with calf fur. The listed price is for the basic version; the prices of the remaining versions are available upon request.
