The chair on display is part of the collection “Plywood Group”, which was designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1946. The organically shaped seating part and the backrest are of fiberglass, upholstered with either natural or black-stained ash veneer. The construction is of chromium-plated steel. The chair can be accompanied by a suitable footrest depending whether it would stand on a hard floor or carpet. The chair, marked DCM, serves for regular sitting purposes.
