The chair EA 215 is part of the collection “Soft Pad Group”, designed by the legendary couple Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1959. In construction, the chair with handrests on a four-beam base departs from the series “Aluminium Chair” or, more particularly, from the model EA 124. The skeleton of either polished or chromium-plated aluminium comes with upholstering of both the seating part and the high backrest. The upholstering is either genuine leather or the luxurious premium leather which are both available in a wide variety of colors. Vitra also offers the revolving version of the item, EA 216.
