The chair EA 115 is part of the collection of aluminium chairs designed by the legendary couple Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1957. Along with other types from this series, it ranks to the most famous items produced by the company Vitra. It departs from the chair EA 107, contrary to which it has a high backrest positioned against the seating part in an obtuse angle. This basically predestinates the main use of the chair, which is a comfortable rest. The skeleton of polished or chromium-plated aluminium can be upholstered with the fabric Hopsak, leather or a special network material. Also available is the revolving version, EA 116.
