Although the collection “Aluminium Chair” was created by the designers’ couple Charles & Ray Eames’ as early in 1957, it ranks to the everlasting icons which have been produced by Vitra without any single construction change since then. It is an anatomically shaped chair with a medium-high backrest, standing on a central leg continuing in a four-leg base. Apart from the basic version EA 105, also available is the version with handrests, EA 107, and the revolving version of the latter, EA 108. All types come either in polished or chromium-plated aluminium. Clients can choose from a wide variety of colors of the fabric upholstering (Hopsak), a special network material or colored leather.
