The rocking chair “RAR” is part of the collection “Eames Plastic Side Chair”, designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1948 for the competition organized by the New York Museum of Modern Art. Vitra produces it from 1957. In 1993, the company changed the composition of the material which is today fully recyclable. The body rests on a construction of chromium-plated rods which are inserted to two coulisses of maple wood. The item comes in several color variants.
