The chair “DAR” rests on an artful construction of four legs of chromium-plated steel which are reinforced by mutually connected steel rods. The chair is part of the collection “Eames Plastic Side Chair”, designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1948. It was a revolutionary solution of a chair, made of laminate shell. Vitra today produces it from the fully recyclable ecological polypropylene. It offers it in several color variants, while the version without chromium plating is suitable for the outdoor use.
