The armchair “DAX” has an elegant, biomorphic shape and it rests on four legs of chromium-plated steel. The chair is part of the collection “Eames Plastic Side Chair”, designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1948 for the competition organized by the New York Museum of Modern Art. The body of the “DAX” is today produced from the fully recyclable ecological polypropylene. Vitra offers it in several color variants, while the version without chromium plating is suitable for the outdoor use.
