The chair “DSW” is part of the collection “Eames Plastic Side Chair” which in fact departs from the legendary “Fibreglass Chair”, designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1948. It rests on four legs of varnished maple wood which are reinforced by black-lacquered steel rods. The combination of plastic and natural wood makes the “DSW” the most elegant version of the entire series. Vitra today produces the chair in several color variants of fully recyclable ecological polypropylene.
