The chair “DSR” is part of the collection “Eames Plastic Side Chair” which in fact departs from the legendary “Fibreglass Chair”, designed by Charles & Ray Eames’ in 1948. It was a revolutionary solution of a chair made of laminate shell. Today, Vitra produces it from the fully recyclable ecological polypropylene. The “DSR” is based on an artful construction of four legs made of chromium-plated steel which are reinforced by mutually connected steel rods. Vitra offers the item in several color variants, while the version without chromium plating is suitable for the outdoor use.
