The figure represents a girl playing guitar or ukulele and seated on a based with an engraved signature of the designer, “Horsetzky”. The girl wears a long flowing gown with an inconspicuous floral pattern, while her brown hair is crowned by a garland of flowers. The sculpture is a product of the famed Viennese ceramic manufacture Goldscheider and it originates from the period around 1920. Its style is clearly influenced by Wiener Werkstätte.
