Bowl with a Lid | around 1925 | 20 x 10 x 10 cm | Art Deco | Glass, Accessories - interior | Antiques | price: EUR 712Add to My CollectionAsk about this artifact |
The jar, made of thin transparent glass, stands on a rounded base. Its cylindrical, slightly thinned shape culminates with a conical lid equipped with a cylindrical fitting. The jar is decorated with silver layered with black glazing. The center has a band with two cartouches, while the bottom of the lid has a minute decorative band. A historicizing pattern is fret into the black. The cartouches among the tendrils in the ornamental band display gallant scenes in the style of Rococo.
