The oval base of varnished wood bears the sculpture of St John made of cast ciselled bronze with natural patina. The item is a miniature version of a large equestrian sculpture erected on the third court of the Prague Castle complex, which was cast by the brothers Martin and Jiří of Kološ. The mounted St George raises a lance with his right hand and is ready to pierce a dragon. This small-dimensional version of the original model can be dated to the first half of the 20th century.
