The clock made of black-dipped wood is supported by a massive base. Both its base and the case rest on a rectangular pedestal whose front edges are beveled. The center of the front side displays a white varnished clock dial with Roman ciphers. The center of the clock dial offers a view of a skeleton mechanism which is signed Farcot Bte S.G.D.G. Paris on the back. The motion of the pendulum is visible through the mechanism. The item on display is of French provenance and it can be dated to the late 19th century. The clock is fully functional, on which a one-year guarantee is provided.
