The rounded stone base bears a figure of a barefoot girl clad in tight dress stylized in the spirit of Art Nouveau. It is executed in brown-green varnished tin. The forefinger of the girl’s right hand carries a pendulum clock mechanism inlaid to a rounded copper case that bears a globular pendulum on three bars. The white enameled clock dial has Arabian ciphers. The mechanism produced by the company Junghans is of the anchor and pendulum type. It is an authentic piece of German provenance, originating from the period around 1900. The clock is fully functional, on which a one-year guarantee is provided.
