The bracelet is made of red brass, or tombac – a material containing 80 % of copper and 20 % of zinc, which was highly favored by the 19th-century jewel-making. The bracelet is formed by 22 mutually interconnected oblong links set with Czech garnets – three large ones, arranged in a horizontal order and surrounded by smaller ones. The item on display represents an extraordinary Czech jeweler’s work originating from the latter half of the 19th century.
