Necklace | around 1920 | 40 x 15 cm | Art Deco | Gold, Gemstones, Jewlery | Antiques | price: EUR 316Add to My CollectionAsk about this artifact |
The necklace is formed by a pendant hung on a delicate chain. It is made of yellow gold of 14 carat purity, i.e. 585/1000. The total weight of the jewel is 6.25 grams. The place of the chain’s connection displays a plastic fleur-de-lis decorated with small white sapphires. Below, in a richly slit montage, is set a yellow hessonite. The necklace probably represents a Czech work on the edge between Art Nouveau and Art Deco and it can be dated to the period around 1920.
