The necklace is made of pink gold of 14 carats purity, i.e. 585/1000. Its total weight is 8.86 grams. The necklace, hanging on a think, delicate chain, is of a semi-circle shape and is decorated with fine wires coiled into the form of a snail. Two shorter and two longer pendants flow down. The necklace is decorated with rounded and oval natural amethysts and sweet-water pearls. The item on display represents a Czech work on the edge between Art Nouveau and Art Deco and it originates from the period around 1920.
