The earrings are made of yellow gold of 14 carat purity, i.e. 585/1000. Their total weight is 5.95 grams. The fastening is decorated with an engraved triangle accompanied by pendants. The engraved faceting bears aubergine-shaped Mediterranean corals of 4 millimeters in diameter and 12 millimeters in length (the mining of these gems was discontinued). The item on display represents a Central-European work and it originates from the period around 1920.
