Set of Two Secession Vases | kolem 1910 | 28 x 11 x 11 cm | Secession | Glass, Accessories - interior | Antiques | price: EUR 625Add to My CollectionAsk about this artifact |
The two pendant conic vases are made of green glass. The base is of hexagonal shape, while its longer sides are slightly convex and the shorter ones concave. The body narrows down upwards and culminates by a triangular neck whose rough grinding seems to suggest that the vases were supposed to be enclosed by metal parts. The surface is irised and decorated with a melted-on fiber. The items on display represent products of some Šumava glassworks from the early 20th century.
