The pendant, whose total weight is 6.80 grams, is formed by a large central aquamarine of an exceptional quality. The gem is flawless and probably originates from a South-American country. The faceting of 18-carat white gold is, however, modern and can be dated to the 1950s or 1960s. The pendant is decorated with four diamonds of the brilliant cut and weight of 0.16 carats. It is hung on a chain of 14-carat gold. The jewel’s place of origination unfortunately cannot be reliably identified.
