Pearl Ring | Lorenz Brothers (Kamenicky Senov) | 1920 - 1925 | Art Deco | Gold, Jewlery, Diamond | Antiques |
The ring weighting 2.65 grams is made of gold of 585/1000 purity, i.e. 14 carats. The ring itself is made of yellow gold, while precious stones and a pearl are set into white gold. The diameter of the sea pearl by which the ring culminates is 9 millimeters and it has diamond rose cuts set on both sides. Not only the faceting of the pearl and the stones and the goldsmith’s work in general but also the plate marks suggest that the ring can be dated to the period between 1925 and 1930. There is, unfortunately, lack of predictors that would allow for determining the jewel’s country of origin.
