Coffee Table in Brussels Style | 1955 - 1965 | Brussels Style | Furniture, Furniture | Table | Antiques | price upon requestAdd to My CollectionAsk about this artifact |
The conference table, whose design corresponds to the so-called Brussels style, rests on three legs, each of them composed of three metal rods. The top board is characteristic of the Brussels style due to its shape of a triangle with rounded edges, while the longest arm of the triangle is slightly concave. The board is made of particleboard covered with a layer of formica – the typical material of the 1960s. The pattern decorating the board is also very characteristic of the Brussels style, inspired by Geometric Abstraction. The table survived in an authentic, very good condition.
