The collection of contemporary art in the possession of Judith Rothschild is a unique collection of more than 2,500 contemporary works on paper. The selection of three hundred works is the first such a comprehensive exhibition from the collection. It presents a mix of styles and genres – Geometric Abstraction, figurative painting as well as conceptual works. Amongst the exhibited artists are, for example Lee Bontecou and Joseph Boys with their historical works, Donald Judd and Hanne Darboven with their works from the field of minimalism, Elizabeth Peyton and John Currin with their detailed drawings as well as Ján Mančuška, presented by his installation.
