Jiří Thýn is a representative of the youngest generation of Prague contemporary art. He graduated from the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague and studied one year in the studio of Vladimír Skrepl and Jiří Kovanda in the Prague Academy of Fine Arts.
Thýn is a member of the art group Ládví which has been involved in affecting the public space in Prague 8 in various ways – whether via art or “publicly beneficial works” – since 2005.
The exhibition entitled “Less” and held in the hunt kastner artworks gallery will display Thýn’s photographs and objects.
