Eames by Vitra

Furniture Design by Charles and Ray Eames from between 1940 and 1970 9 October – 2 November, Exhibition Hall, Museum of Decorative Arts, Prague The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague will soon present two significant personalities of the globally renowned furniture designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The married couple, which gained fame by experimenting with various materials, will be mainly presented via their own achievements from between 1940 and 1970, for the company Vitra. The exhibition will also display their artistic enjambments to the fields of architecture, industrial design and photography, which will be recalled by the surviving historical materials, films and remarks. The exhibition is held in the framework of the 10th year of the days of design in Prague – Designblok 08 – in the exhibition hall of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
